A set of three Turkish postage stamps featuring a profile portrait of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Each stamp is dated “1990” and bears the inscriptions “TÜRKIYE CUMHURIYETI” (Turkish Republic), “Posta” (Post/Mail), “1000 LİRA” (1000 Lira), and “AJANS-TÜRK A.Ş. / Ankara” (Agency-Turk Inc. / Ankara). The monochrome reddish-purple/mauve portrait depicts a moustached man in glasses and a suit. All three stamps are perforated and exhibit clear diagonal cancellation marks.
