Monthly Stamp / Philatelic Auction - Rare | Collectable | GB & Worldwide
A pair of identical, uncancelled postage stamps from Great Britain, issued in 1971 as part of the Christmas series, depicting the ‘Adoration of the Magi’. Each stamp features a central multi-colored design rendered in a stained-glass window style, illustrating a group of robed figures under arches, centered around a main figure holding a child. To the right of this imagery, on a solid blue panel, is a gold silhouette profile of a monarch facing left, positioned above the white denomination ‘3p’ (three pence).
