A lovely pair of vintage Poole Pottery plates from the sought-after Traditional Ware collection, hand-painted in the charming “BN” floral pattern. Each plate features a delicate hand-painted design of a yellow tulip, blue cornflower, and pink dianthus, characteristic of Poole’s mid-century artistry and craftsmanship.
Produced in Poole, Dorset, England, between 1955 and 1967, the BN pattern showcases the company’s distinctive decorative style. The reverse of each plate bears the Poole Pottery backstamp with the stylised sea dragon logo, along with “Poole England Est. 1873.” Many examples from this range were signed by the individual artist who painted them, reflecting the brand’s artisanal quality.
