A charming vintage Danish porcelain collector’s plate by Bing & Grøndahl, dated 1977 and titled “Juleaften i Nyhavn” (translated as “Christmas Anchorage”). This piece forms part of the company’s iconic annual Christmas plate series, first introduced in 1895 and cherished by collectors worldwide.
Beautifully detailed in the traditional blue and white palette, the plate depicts a serene festive harbour scene at Nyhavn, Copenhagen. Marked on the reverse with the Bing & Grøndahl backstamp and the series number 9089.
