Buyer's premium:

A varied and decorative group of four vintage items spanning jewellery, military history, and classic giftware — ideal for collectors or as a curated mixed lot for resale or display.

The first item is a Merlin pen and key ring gift set, presented in a soft pink and cream faux pearl-finish gift box. The set is likely from the 1960s or 1970s and contains a small pen and matching key ring. The presentation box, with its retro pearlescent surface and velvet-look interior, gives this set a distinct mid-century charm.

The second item is a small decorative pill box featuring a black and gold lid with a stylised pattern possibly influenced by Art Deco or Art Nouveau design. The lid’s design may be interpreted as a sunburst or floral motif, and the interior is fitted for holding small items such as pills, mints, or jewellery.

The third piece is a Royal Army Ordnance Corps (RAOC) cap badge, a traditional British military badge in metal with the RAOC’s distinctive crest and motto. The badge design includes the Garter surrounding the shield of the Ordnance Board (with three cannons in pale and cannon balls above), surmounted by a crown. The RAOC served as the British Army’s supply and ordnance branch until it was merged into the Royal Logistic Corps in 1993, making this badge a collectable piece of British military history.

The final item is a vintage maple leaf brooch, gold-encrusted with 24 carat detailing, and presented in its original box. The brooch is inscribed with “Picked in one of the great Canadian woods” and features a textured gold finish. It’s a classic Canadian souvenir piece from the mid-20th century, collectible for both its patriotic theme and its delicate craftsmanship.

This lot brings together decorative giftware, military memorabilia, and vintage jewellery — a unique combination for collectors, dealers, or anyone with an eye for nostalgic design.
