A varied lot of British postage stamps, ideal for new or developing collections, primarily from 1972, with highlights including:
• BBC Broadcasting History (1972) – celebrating the 50th anniversary of the BBC and the 75th anniversary of Marconi’s wireless experiments. Designs include early microphones (3p, SG 871), horn loudspeaker (5p, SG 872), colour television camera (7½p, SG 873), and Marconi/Kemp experimental equipment (9p, SG 874).
• European Communities (1973) – commemorating the UK’s entry into the European Communities (SG 881–884).
• Health & Handicap Charities – stamps with 4½p + 1½p surcharge, issued for charitable support (SG 879–880).
