A monochromatic postage stamp from Cyprus, issued in 1974, identified as a Postal Tax Refugee Fund Stamp. The stamp features a somber illustrative style on paper with intact perforations. The central image depicts a hunched figure, possibly a child or young person, seated with arms crossed, against a background of looped barbed wire. Inscriptions at the top include “TAMEION ΠΡΟΣΦΥΓΩΝ, ” “REFUGEE FUND, ” and “GOCMENLER FONU.” The denomination “1c” is present in the upper right corner. Further inscriptions at the bottom read “ΚΥΠΡΟΣ – CYPRUS – KIBRIS.” The year “1974” is visible near the top right, with “1968” faintly visible near the bottom right of the central image.
