A contemporary tasseography or tea leaf reading set designed by Jane Lyle, comprising a teacup and matching saucer. The pieces are crafted from glazed white fine ceramic with elegant scalloped rims. The interior of the cup is decorated with red transfer-printed esoteric and planetary symbols, including a heart, an eye, and celestial icons, all centred around a black eight-pointed star. The saucer features the twelve signs of the zodiac rendered in black within red-lined segments, encircling a matching central star motif. This set is a modern revival of traditional Victorian fortune-telling ceramics. The items are presented in their original packaging, with the cup housed in a red satin-lined presentation box. Cup diameter approximately 10 cm; Saucer diameter approximately 14.5 cm.
